The FCG8 will insert pre-programmed text
messages onto a "looped through" composite video signal.
It can also operate in stand alone mode, not requiring the 'video in'
signal. There are 8
messages. Whenever the input pin corresponding to any message is connected
to ground, that message will appear on the screen. More than one message
can be enabled at a time. The FCG8 can also operate in scrolling mode.
In this mode the selected message scrolls from right to left at the bottom
of the screen. This allows a long message to be displayed without
obstructing the main viewing area.
The unit is housed in a rugged die-cast box
and requires a supply of 8 to 24 volts DC. |
