The Linear Broadcast FM500 is housed in a 3RU rack case and provides  power output of  500 Watts with drive of only 5 watts. Metering of forward and reflected RF power and supply current and voltages is included on the front panel.     This unit is designed with efficiency in mind to reduce running costs and increase reliability through lower operating temperature. These goals are achieved using rugged MOSFET output stages and conservatively designed switch-mode power supplies.
